Recital Dress

This commission was worn by Jadyn Riggs. 

This was a commissioned piece for a Cincinnati Conservatory of Music’s students senior opera recital. 

Working with Jadyn to understand her vision of the dress she wanted to wear, helped me get a good plan to sketch for her. We worked through fabric choices, embellishments, and created a plan for the dress.  Once Jadyn approved the design drawing, once the pattern was created, I was able to construct the dress, making fitting adjustments to get the perfect fit for Jadyn. This commissioned piece took approximately 20 hours.
